Going back months ago, when things were normal, life was easy. Imagine, it's only been two months and a half but the changes in our life, in the community, and in the process of living became complicated.
It's hard to go out nowadays, especially thinking that your health is at risk. Before, when you see someone sneezing, you'll probably say "bless you". But now, I don't know if people can still say that or if they will just save themselves by giving meters of distance from you. Here in our place, you can't go anywhere without a "quarantine pass", unless it's really an emergency. It's not like before when if you're craving McDonald's fries or chicken, you'll just go out and walk to the near McDonald's store. Or if you just want to walk near the bay or park, you'll just change clothes and then you're ready to go. No. Things are not like that anymore. Things are not easy anymore. Life is not as easy as before. I guess this is the "new normal" that they're saying.
While some people are enjoying their stay in their own comfortable homes, some are complaining and saying that they're not going to die because of the virus, but hunger can kill them because they don't have money to support their families.
The world is facing a really hard time because of the virus, but aside from that virus, there is a "silent killer" out there, famously known as Depression.

While most people in the world right now are fighting against COVID-19, we don't know that because of this pandemic issue, people are experiencing depression because of too much fear and overthinking. Our health is very important, as well as our mental health. Depression is like a timely virus, it can't be easily detected, and the most alarming thing is it can also kill someone.

it's normal to feel uneasy & worried and to feel not okay these days. Considering what are we going through, it's normal to experience extreme sadness or anxiety, but always remember that there is someone who's always willing to listen -- to be with you in the most difficult times like today. Maybe it's hard to reach out but all we have to do is to say, to be vocal about what are we thinking, and what we feel, and if it's getting harder and painful or you feel like depression is about to attack, call someone that you know who will listen. Also, remember that depression is not a joke and you have no right to make fun of it especially if you know someone who is fighting against mental health.
You can also search online for the best medication given by the experts. (Don't consider self-diagnostic and always seek help for experts for you to find out if you're really suffering from depression)
There are a lot of things that are going on around the world. From viruses to social and financial problems, it's hard to be okay nowadays. But you have to remember that there is someone out there who will listen and be willing to comfort you. You are not alone.

Maybe things were better back then but we didn't realize how easy it was until we were struck by this virus. I don't know if we can still live a normal life, where things are easy, and life is not complicated as now. Your life may change a lot, but that doesn't mean that you should stop living. Change is constant. And in order for us to live, we must adapt and take that changes as challenges that may help us to be strong and brave.
Remember, always stay positive! Spread love and care :)
