I don't know why, but it's kind of weird. Seeing the roads that were full of vehicles is now empty. The streets are so quiet - it feels like a ghost town. I'm not used to this kind of situation - especially staying in the house for six days straight. To be honest, I'm a little bored.

Thinking of our situation right now, I always go back to the time when I had this weird dream.
Back when I was a child, I had this uncanny thought "what is it like to live in a ghost town?". Technically, it's not as quiet as you think it is. There are still a few people and few vehicles but unlike the usual -- roads are full of cars and lots of people passing by. So it's kinda new to me.

Well, what is the reason for all the happenings right now?
YES, YOU'RE RIGHT. LET ME PLACE THE SPOTLIGHT ON THE CORONAVIRUS.

So what is Coronavirus or also known as COVID-19? (A little information)
Coronaviruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause disease. A newly identified type has caused a recent outbreak of respiratory illness now called COVID-19 that started in China. COVID-19 symptoms include cough, fever, and shortness of breath. COVID-19 can be severe, and some cases have caused death. The new virus can be spread from person to person. It is diagnosed with a laboratory test. Prevention involves frequent hand-washing, coughing into the bend of your elbow, and staying home when you are sick. (Source: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/,-and-diseases/coronavirus)
The first time I heard about the pandemic COVID-19 is last January when I was really unaware of how dangerous this virus is. The moment I heard that this thing is the cause of someone's death in China, I got scared and nervous and hoped this will not spread across to other countries, which unfortunately happened.
Every time we watch the news, there's an update about the said virus - and it's getting out of hand. The number of people who got infected is rapidly increasing, the same as the number of people who died because of this virus. I never thought that this will get more serious than I expected. We're frightened by the fact that the chance of having this virus here in our country is high since there are a lot of Chinese people working, and going in and out of the Philippines.
Last Monday, March 16, our government announced that NCR (stands for National Capital Region, which consists of 16 cities) will place under Community Quarantine. All transportation going in and out of the NCR, including air, sea, and land transportation is suspended. Company operations, malls, and other transactions will be limited until further notice. The following day, the government announced an Enhance Community Quarantine, almost the same as a Lockdown. All companies, operations, and other transactions were advised to stop, but supermarkets, hospitals, and banks are exempted.

As far as I know, some countries are also placed under a lockdown or a quarantine process. Thus, this issue is really getting more serious in just a snap. (Not a snap from Thanos)
In a blink of an eye, the cases are getting higher, and it's very alarming. However, I know that everybody is working and giving their best to fight this virus - to get rid of this.
In the midst of everything that's going on around the world today, the best way to do this is to pray. And right after you pray, make sure to wash your hands. Like what the others said, make sure you count up to 20 while washing your hands - you can also sing while doing it so it will be more fun to do. Another thing not to attract this virus is to make sure that your surrounding is clean. Make sure you clean your bed, sweep the floor, get used clothes, and put them in the basket. They also advised us to use alcohol, but hey, make sure to take a bath. I think that is more effective.
In this kind of situation, we need each other. I think, helping one another in the midst of a crisis is a responsibility - a responsibility that we must do. Also, we have to remind ourselves that we need to stay positive to attract positivity. Claim it, we will surpass this chapter. The world will be okay soon. Everyone will be healed. All things will be settled, just don't forget to smile and spread love & happiness.
Stay safe as always!

Thank you for reading! Keep exploring! :)
