I remember when I was in my senior year back in college days, I applied to the Cultural Center of the Philippines to be an intern. I was a Mass Communication graduate and honestly, I love films and photography. Cultural Center of the Philippines also known as CCP holds huge film festivals like Cinemelaya (a yearly film festival that showcases films/movies). They also have PASINAYA, the biggest one-day multi-arts festival in the Philippines, an open-house festival held annually for one day at the CCP which is located in the heart of the Metro.

I'm still laughing when I'm reminiscing about the moment when I got accepted as an intern. I planned to apply to the Movie/Film Department but I was interviewed by a supervisor who's working in Visual Arts and Museum Division. After the interview, I was surprised and happy at the same time because I was informed right away that I passed and I will start immediately (immediately means right after the interview. But I told them that I have a class and I will just start the next day). I was really surprised that I got in out of 14 people who applied for an internship. My classmate and also my closest friend got in and we're in the same department so my internship is really fun and exciting. But I'm still puzzled because I got in under Visual Arts.

The visual Arts and Museum Division is responsible for all the art exhibits. The only thing that is related to my course under the said department is making a Press Release, transcribing an interview, and doing an email "blast" (a term we use when we are sending a lot of email invitations for upcoming exhibits). It's kind of funny, right? But honestly, IT WAS REALLY FUN!

I believe that not getting what you want may lead you to discover what you really like. I love movies, short films, and photography -- I really do. But working in the Visual Arts and Museum Division made me realize that I love arts. ( A little throwback: I love writing and doing calligraphy since I was in high school. I'm also doodling and trying to give my best at drawing, but I think my forte is calligraphy. I'm bad at drawing HAHAHAHA ) I'm starting to like paintings at that time. I'm starting to appreciate every stroke of the brush paint, every color, and shape and I even started to understand the meaning and the message of every abstract painting I've seen there. The story, the effort, the time, the passion of the artist - I started to understand everything. That's why every time I go to the Center, it makes me happy because I got a chance to see lots of artwork there.

Since my internship at the CCP, until now, I love paintings. I love to have a painting in our house. Unfortunately, I can't since we're only renting a house. It's really small and I don't know if it can fit inside our small space, and aside from that, I can't afford to buy a real painting (it really costs a lot of money). That's why when my Photowall family gave me a gift, and a chance to choose from their website, I was really really happy.

I was planning to order on May 1st so I will receive it on my birthday but I can't wait for that's why I ordered on April 16. Photowall is shipping worldwide and it's really fast with its 3-4 business days delivery (depending on which country you are in). Considering that we are under lockdown, I expected that the delivery may take longer. But guess what?

Here's a text message from DHL:

I received my order on April 22. I was literally surprised since I got an email from Photowall saying that the estimated arrival of my order is on May 4 but yeah, I got it way too early than expected. Considering the lockdown, the delivery is really fast.

I wasn't able to get a picture from the delivery man since my father is the one who took it because I don't have a "quarantine pass" so we're not allowed to go outside.

It came in good condition. It's really amazing!

I ordered two canvases, one is Sunlight over sunflower, and the other one is a customized one which is our family photo but I edit it and made it look like a painting.

I REALLY LOVE SUNSET that's why I ordered Sunset over sunflower. It took me a week to decide what canvas print should I choose since Photowall has tons of beautiful motifs/images on their website. From wallpaper, wall-mural, canvas print, posters, and framed print, everything is really amazing. They have everything that may suit your style!

The process of assembling the canvas is so easy and fun. My parents helped to assemble that's why it became much easier. I wasn't able to get a picture while we were doing it since I'm so excited but here is the final product.

We placed it on the upper part of my bed and it really looks amazing. I'm so in love with it. Seeing this every day is so refreshing and amazing since I really really really really love the sunset.

He posed in front of it before we put it on the bed. This picture is so lovely!

I will never get tired of saying how beautiful and wonderful it is. I'm really thankful to Photowall for giving me a gift like this. I will treasure this forever.

(Oh, I placed the other canvas under our television so when we are watching, we also see ourselves HAHAHAHA)

I will take this chance to invite you to visit Photowall and take a look at their cool, lovely, amazing, and wonderful products. They also have outstanding service. The products are really great, the quality, the delivery, everything!

Thank you Photowall for this gift and the chance to get a product from you.

Thank you for reading! Keep exploring! :)
